SERVICES

Maryville offers a wide array of special services
for its residents. They include:
Barber and Beauty Shop
A full range of services is available with reasonable charges.
Bereavement Support Group
Social Services facilitates the schedule with family and
friends.
Dental
Services are available with a fully-equipped dental office
on-site. Charges are determined by the work done.

Dietary
All meals are provided and “between meal” snacks
are available. Lunch and dinner are served in the dining
room for residents who are able to feed themselves.
Laundry
Clothing policy: No wool, hand-wash or dry-cleanable items.
Clothing items will be marked with a label sewn in by Maryville
staff. New items brought for a resident should be left
at the nurses’ station for marking.
Lockbox
A lockbox is provided in each resident’s room. A maximum
of $50 in cash may be left at the reception desk in trust
for a resident. (Residents are encouraged not to bring valuable
family heirlooms to Maryville.)
Newspaper
Subscriptions to newspapers are available and will be billed
to the resident. An eye clinic in the facility is available
for use by a resident’s personal ophthalmologist
or optometrist.
Optometrist
Optometry services are available and will be billed by the
practitioner.
Pastoral Care Services
Pastoral services are an important part of the overall care
provided at Maryville. Mass is offered daily in St. Josephs
Chapel. Episcopal services are held weekly. Holy Communion
is distributed daily to those unable to attend Mass. The
Sacrament of the Sick is administered quarterly or upon
request. Residents enjoy the peace and serenity of afternoon
chapel visits and can also participate each morning in
reciting the Holy Rosary.
Personal Need Items
Personal need items are provided at reasonable rates.
Pharmacy
Maryville contracts with a local pharmacy for most medicines
for a resident. All insurance plans are accepted. Residents
or their insurance companies are billed each month by the
pharmacy.
Physician
Everyone has his or her own physician. Residents must be
seen every 30 days for the first 90 days after they enter
Maryville. After that, they must be seen every 60 days.
Podiatrist
Services are available as ordered by a primary physician.
The practitioner will bill the residents or their insurance
companies.
Telephones
Private phone service is available. Families may arrange
for private phone service by consulting Verizon.
