Dear Families and Friends,

It is August already! There is little time left for vacation before school begins again!

Here at the Motherhouse, the drilling, pounding and banging goes on and on as we are in the third month of the HVAC project. Since mid-July, groups of Sisters have had to vacate their bedrooms and relocate themselves in a different section of the Motherhouse for about three weeks as workmen from American Heating do the multi-phase task of installing the new pipes and heating units.

This disruption was causing a perfect excuse to clear out some of our “treasures” for our annual garage sale. However, the old gym is so filled with pipes and other equipment from American Heating that we cannot get to what was already stored for the sale. For that reason, we have had to cancel the sale this year, but those “treasures” will be available in August 2013!
